Taisa is a well-rounded, highly experienced and passionate dance instructor who started to dance at the age of 7 in Ukraine. She continued her dance career in the US by competing in International Latin category. In addition Taisa taught dance at Virginia Commonwealth University for 4 semesters.
Her 15+ years of formal dance training speaks volumes when it comes to teaching International Standard and Latin – Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Samba, Cha-cha, Rumda, Paso Doble, Jive, as well as American Rhythm dances and Social Latin – Salsa, Bachata, Merengue.
Taisa truly enjoys sharing her dance talents by influencing others through teaching group classes, workshops, seminars, semi-privates, privates, choreographing wedding and special event routines. She has a great ability to break down dances into learnable sections, focusing on the difficulties students might have, explaining leads and follows in depth and making sure students leave with a strong understanding of the dance. Above all Taisa strives to make sure her students leave feeling elevated and inspired to dance.
